Removal Services

Forward Moving partners with The Community Warehouse Project, a local non-profit that helps people in need get furnishings for their new housing. If you have unwanted household goods that you would like removed but would like to give these items a second life and also help someone in the process, donating to the Community Warehouse project is a great way to do this. Rather than have these items end up in the dump, Forward Moving will come out pick them up, determine what is donatable and what the Community Warehouse project will accept and then deliver these items to their facility in West Chester or Downingtown and anything that in not donatable we will dispose of responsibly.

Typically our removal service is an added service we provide for our moving customers. If you are moving with us and need to declutter or remove items prior to the move we have you covered! We can come prior to your move date and remove these items or we can first provide the moving services, see what fits in your new place and then come back after the move and remove whatever is left and whatever you would like to donate or discard.

Items that need to be removed and are not donatable we will responsibly discard and recycle here locally in Chester County.

Pricing for removal is based on cubic feet of truck space used and the labor to get the items out of the home: A general pricing structure for removal or donation is:

Please note: We don’t remove any hazardous material cleanouts, or collect yard waste, construction debris, or demo debris. If the customer provides a dumpster, however, we can offer labor to remove these types of waste.

We specialize in removing unwanted furniture items. If you have a large cleanout we may ask you to provide a dumpster and we can provide the muscle and labor!
